Mauritania's Minister of Equipment and Transport, Ely Ould El Veirik, took part in an extraordinary meeting of ministers of the Agency for Air Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA), devoted to the agency's participation in the ICAN 2026 conference in Equatorial Guinea and to following up on the progress of audits of the agency.
The meeting, held by video conference, approved the agency's participation in the conference scheduled for December 7 to 11, with a report on it to be presented at the next meeting.
