Madar (Rabat) - Low-cost airline Ryanair is launching 17 new routes in Morocco as part of its winter 2026 programme, its largest ever in the country, news site Hespress reported on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

The programme offers 5.3 million seats on 156 routes, 600,000 more seats, or 12%, than last winter. According to the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), the network links Morocco to 14 countries through 13 airports, and the new routes include services from Germany, the UK, Ireland and from Rabat.

Ryanair has opened its fifth Moroccan base in Rabat with two aircraft, bringing to 16 the number of its aircraft based in the country. Chief executive Eddie Wilson said the airline will take delivery of 300 aircraft over the next seven years and wants to allocate as many as possible to Morocco.

The ONMT says Ryanair's expansion represents a cumulative investment of $1.6 billion and supports more than 8,500 local jobs, while helping to boost destinations beyond the main tourist hubs, including Fes, Tetouan, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla and Nador, the same source said.
