Madar (Algiers) - Air Algérie resumed flights to the Libyan capital Tripoli on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, with an inaugural flight from Algiers international airport, after regular services between the two countries were suspended in 2014, the Algérie Eco website reported.
According to the same source, the route will be served by two flights a week.
Libya's ambassador to Algeria told reporters before departure that the resumption was "an important step to strengthen bilateral relations", while the airline's acting commercial director said the route would be "an additional pillar to strengthen cooperation ties".
