In Aioun, the livestock development minister launched phase-two consultations in Hodh El Gharbi, saying public investment in the region exceeds 20 billion old ouguiyas across 475 interventions in health, education, water, electricity, agriculture, livestock and roads.
The minister urged elected officials to make "objective, frank and precise" proposals and called for "serious and rigorous" monitoring of phase one, launched in 2025, to identify and fix shortcomings.
Gorgol's consultations reported yesterday 304 work sites at 61% completion, and consultations have spread to Hodh Ech Chargui and Tiris Zemmour, with phase two due to start early next year.
