Mauritania's Minister of Fisheries and Maritime and Port Infrastructure, Aissata Lam, on Friday visited several industrial and fishing facilities in Nouadhibou, including the Mauritanian shipbuilding company and the firms "Atak Seafood" and "Rim Fish Global".
The minister was briefed on the companies' activities, operations and production conditions, and on their contribution to developing shipbuilding and adding value to seafood products.
She was accompanied by the governor of Dakhlet Nouadhibou and by administrative, security and military officials and local elected representatives.
