Madar (Bamako) - Mali's President, General Assimi Goita, will make a working and friendship visit to Ouagadougou on Thursday, November 5, 2026, according to an announcement by the State Protocol directorate of Burkina Faso's presidency reported by Burkina24.
The Burkinabe presidency did not disclose the agenda of the visit between two members of the Alliance of Sahel States, alongside Niger.
The visit comes in a week in which Burkina Faso sent a ministerial delegation to Bamako over its nationals expelled from Guinea after artisanal gold mining was suspended in Guinea's Siguiri prefecture.
