It will focus on drones and counter-drone systems, surveillance and reconnaissance, tactical communications, border security, armoured vehicles and personal protective equipment, with field demonstrations during a "Demo Day".
Launched in 2025, BAMEX aims to become a platform for exchanges between international manufacturers and African defence and security officials.
