The Coalition of the Democratic Opposition bloc has denied taking any position rejecting the participation of the Popular Progressive Alliance (APP) in the committee overseeing the national dialogue, stressing that the choice of its representatives has not yet been put to its bodies for discussion.

In a statement received by Madar, the coalition said that reports of its objection to the party's membership were not based on any decision by its competent bodies, and urged reliance on its official channels to convey its positions.

The statement said consultations were continuing with the Institution of the Democratic Opposition on a consensual mechanism for designating the opposition's representatives on the dialogue supervisory committee, so as to ensure coordination among its various components.
