Mauritanian Defence Minister Ba Ousmane on Tuesday received in Nouakchott the charge d'affaires of the Chinese embassy, in a meeting devoted to ways of developing the defence partnership between the two countries.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations in the military field and the opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the mutual interest of Mauritania and China.
The ministry's secretary general, an adviser and the ministry's director of external relations also attended.
