Mali's transitional president, Assimi Goita, has sent a message of congratulations to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the anniversary of the outbreak of the 1 November revolution.
According to a statement from the Algerian presidency, Goita praised the deep historical ties between Mali and Algeria, based on friendship, solidarity and good neighbourliness, and welcomed the renewed momentum in cooperation between the two countries.
The Malian president also expressed his wish to work with his Algerian counterpart to develop and strengthen bilateral relations in the common interest of both countries and both peoples.
