President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani has affirmed Mauritania's readiness to continue working to expand its relations with Cambodia and strengthen areas of cooperation between the two countries.
He did so in a congratulatory message to the King of Cambodia on the occasion of his country's national day, in which he wished the Cambodian people further prosperity and progress.
Ghazouani stressed the importance of developing relations of friendship and cooperation in a way that meets the aspirations of both countries and serves the interests of their peoples.
