Mauritania's Health Minister Naha Hamdi Mekness discussed with Algeria's ambassador in Nouakchott, Amine Sid, ways to expand health cooperation between the two countries, with a focus on kidney transplants and developing the pharmaceutical industry.
The meeting, held in Nouakchott, also covered the exchange of expertise, training of medical staff and strengthening cooperation between health institutions in the two countries.
The two sides agreed to draw up a roadmap setting out the priorities for joint work and the mechanisms for monitoring its implementation.
