Madar (Dakar) - Senegalese champions Teungueth FC were knocked out of the CAF Champions League after a 1-0 defeat by Colombe FC on Sunday, 25 October 2026 at the Ahmadou-Ahidjo omnisports stadium in Yaounde, the Senegalese news agency APS reported.

Having lost the first leg 2-0 last week, the Rufisque club's African campaign ended 3-0 on aggregate, while the Cameroonian side advanced to the group stage. On the same day, Mauritania's FC Nouadhibou reached the group stage of the same competition at the expense of FC San Pedro.

Also on Sunday, Senegal's men's under-20 team were eliminated in the semi-finals of the West African Football Union (WAFU-A) tournament after a 3-2 defeat by Guinea, according to APS.

Moussa Gueye scored both Senegal goals, in the third minute of first-half stoppage time and the 70th minute, while Mohamed Camara and Ibrahima Ndiaye contributed to Guinea's win. The defeat means Senegal will not qualify for the next Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Senegal play Sierra Leone in the third-place match on Friday. Mauritania's under-20 side had already gone out of the same tournament.
