Mauritania called on Sunday, 11 October, for those responsible for Saturday's attack on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport to be held accountable and for action to prevent further attacks.
The foreign ministry stressed the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure, describing their targeting as a violation of international law.
It expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia, offered condolences to victims' families and wished the injured a recovery.
