Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Minister Ahmed Baba Ould Ely has met the heads of the ministry's central departments to review progress on their assigned work and difficulties affecting planned programmes and activities.
The meeting covered priority files and ways to address shortcomings affecting projects, with a focus on better coordination between departments and more effective use of available resources.
The minister urged officials to fulfil their responsibilities and speed up their work. He said the ministry was ready to provide support to overcome obstacles, with the aim of developing agricultural production and strengthening food sovereignty.
