Mauritania's national team, the Mourabitounes, begin their Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifying campaign on Thursday, 24 September, against the Central African Republic at Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco.
The match is the opening round of Group F. Mauritania then face Benin in Abidjan on 29 September in the second round.
Coach Aritz Lopez Garai selected a 27-player squad for the two matches, including players returning to the national team alongside new call-ups.
