The chief of the general staff of Mauritania's armed forces, General Mohamed Vall Raiss Raiss, attended the Marrakech International Defence, Aviation and Space Exhibition in Morocco at the invitation of his Moroccan counterpart, General Mohamed Berrid.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the two military chiefs discussed prospects for military cooperation between their countries and ways to develop it. The Mauritanian chief also attended the opening and accompanying air show and visited the stands of several international defence companies.
He was accompanied by a military delegation that included officials from the chief of staff's office, the air force and the navy.
