Madar (International) - US presidential adviser for African and Arab affairs Massad Boulos said he held talks with ExxonMobil representatives on prospects for expanding US investment and boosting trade in the energy sector in Libya and Algeria.
In a post on his X account, Boulos described the meeting as "productive", stressing the company's importance as a strategic partner as the US administration seeks to open new investment opportunities for American companies in North Africa's energy sector.
He said the moves are part of efforts to strengthen economic ties and widen trade opportunities in support of US economic interests in the region.
