Madar (Nouakchott) - Authorities in Zouerate have opened an inquiry into the death of a person found on Sunday inside a furniture shop on one of the town's main streets.
According to local sources, the public prosecutor went to the scene to examine the body, pending the findings of the investigation into the circumstances of the death.
It is the second death recorded in the town in about a week, after a person was found on the roof of their house, a case in which the official investigation concluded that the death was natural.
