Sidi Ould Moulay Zeine, head of Mauritania's national solidarity and anti-exclusion agency, TAAZOUR, launched Inchiri's 2026 regional development programme on Wednesday evening, October 14, in the regional capital, Akjoujt. Governor Moulay Idriss Ould Guig attended the launch.
The programme includes 53 income-generating projects and measures to improve access to essential services, particularly water, health and education.
TAAZOUR said the programme responded to requests and needs raised by residents during President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani's recent visit. It aims to support local development and improve the economic and social conditions of vulnerable groups.
