Livestock Development Minister Ahmedit Ould Chein has urged sector officials to accelerate ongoing projects and draw up clearly defined work programmes to strengthen the sector's contribution to development.
He made the call on Thursday, October 15, at a meeting with the heads of public institutions, project coordinators and sector officials.
The meeting examined ways to improve performance and coordination between services. It stressed the need for greater administrative and technical efficiency and coordinated efforts to meet the objectives set.
