Madar (Nouakchott) - Economic Affairs and Development Minister Mohamedou Ould M'Haimid received Japan's ambassador to Mauritania, Hiroyuki Ushida, in Nouakchott on Thursday to discuss cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop it.
According to a summary posted by the ministry on its Facebook page, the meeting covered prospects for strengthening bilateral relations and widening cooperation in the two countries' mutual interest.
The talks also covered opportunities to develop cooperation in support of Mauritania's economic and social development policies.
