Madar (Tripoli) - The sixth session of the joint Libyan-Tunisian committee on works related to the land border between the two countries ended on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry of Libya's Government of National Unity in Tripoli, the Libyan News Agency (LANA) reported.
The meetings, held from October 18 to 21, saw the endorsement of the minutes of the joint technical team in charge of fieldwork by the head of Libya's land and maritime borders committee, Mohamed al-Harari, and the director general of Tunisia's National Centre for Cartography and Remote Sensing, Mohamed Ali Ameri, the agency said.
Libya's Foreign Ministry said the meetings were part of continued technical coordination between the two sides, strengthening cooperation on issues related to the shared land border and organising related fieldwork under the frameworks agreed by both countries.
The published reports did not disclose the content of the endorsed minutes or the date of the committee's next session.
