Madar (Tripoli) - The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) said total oil revenues actually deposited in its accounts since the start of October reached $934 million by close of business on Sunday, October 18, 2026, in a clarification posted on its Facebook page and reported by Al-Wasat.

The bank broke down the revenues according to its records: $361 million by close of business on Wednesday, October 14; $577 million by close of business on Thursday, October 15, after additional transfers were booked; and $934 million by close of business on Sunday, October 18.

The CBL stood by the figures published for each period, saying they were cumulative totals and that increases between periods reflected transfers booked at later dates. Its data "relate exclusively to amounts actually deposited in its accounts" and exclude sums collected by other bodies and not transferred, as well as the value of exports and invoices whose proceeds have not yet been received.

The statement follows a discrepancy over October oil revenue figures between the central bank and the National Oil Corporation (NOC), in which the Audit Bureau has intervened. The CBL concluded by praising the efforts of the NOC and the Audit Bureau, stressing the importance of complementary roles.
